NVF Trading is a UK based primary purpose trading arm of Nepal Village Foundation (UK). This trading arm has been developed to generate funds to support the projects in the rural villages of Nepal. Objectives of NVF Trading in promoting eco-tourism
- An opportunity for all to experience the unexplored places of rural Nepal
- Increase business opportunities for the rural communities
- Poverty reduction through development of eco-tourism
- Cross cultural learning and raising awareness about Terain (southern Nepalese) culture
- To generate funds to support the projects in Nepal
- Cooperate with eco-tourism promoting organisations
- To promote and manage eco tours, we will establish a global network of agents and/or ambassadors
Our approach to eco-tourism
Customer satisfaction and value for money is our business principle so we will do our best to make your trip enjoyable. However, promoting eco-tourism to support the rural communities so the people in the communities can improve their livelihoods will remain our priority. Thus we are specific about what, where and with who to do business. All our eco tour’s routes are especially considered to meet the above aims and values. We will use the income that we generate through this activity for development of the rural communities. So the people will have increased business opportunities and further support through the projects to develop skills and capacity. Developing skills and capacity among the rural poor people and increased business opportunities will contribute to improved livelihoods. In the near future- We will be looking for agents and ambassadors in the UK and worldwide so if you are interested to take part in our programme then please fill the form and we will keep you update. An agent will provide services to visitors at our stopping destinations in Nepal and an ambassador will represent a region to promote and manage eco tours through out the world. An ideal ambassador should have a good level of knowledge about ecotourism in Nepal and capacity to organise visitors group.

Promoting Eco-tourism in Nepal for social and economical development

Nepal Village Foundation (UK) supports rural development and educational projects in the most remote and deprived villages of Nepal.
Current Project
This project aims to improve the literacy level in the rural villages of Nepal.
Aims of the project
To raise awareness in rural people about the importance of an education as many girls in the rural villages are not attending school for various reasons.
Provide support for the needy girls from poor and Dalit families who are unable to afford education- this will ensure that the girls from poor families are getting an education.
How much it cost?
Average cost for one girl to attend school for the whole year is £45. This includes books, stationery, summer and winter uniforms, bags, fees and cost of attendance monitoring
